City 1997, a design proposal for Wing On House lobby, aims to portray Hong Kong’s roots and its sense of place. 

 

Layered chopsticks accentuated with collective amount of multi-leveled finishes highlighted Hong Kong’s culture.

 

The idea is pulled together by innovating Chinese contemporary style and selecting a well-balanced color palette that offered infinite possibilities into the space.
